The Bible always contains
a lot of questions burning deep,
as if the Lord our minds trains
spiritually not to sleep.
We may, for hours debating,
seek answers biblical today:
Why Elohim created Satan
and made people out of clay?
Why Adam listened to Eve’s voice
instead of listening to God?
And thus, he made a fatal choice,
at once becoming sinful, flawed.
Why humankind should be paying
for Adam’s sin with strife and pain,
while Satan with our hearts is playing,
and makes the whole world insane?
The answers are awaiting there
for those hungry to discern,
if we are willing to take care,
when for the Truth our minds burn.
But more than knowledge to acquire,
pursuing our mental quest,
the Holy God has a desire
for our sins to be confessed.
Christ warned us all to be aware
of harmful Pharisaic seed,
and of heart’s issues to take care,
to stay away from lust and greed.
More than ability to quote,
He wants us from all wrong to flee,
and our hearts to Him devote,
to Him obedient to be.
