Lonely star

Елизавета Кэннэт
Alone in the vast expanse of space,
A lonely star illuminates its place.
Its brilliant light shines bright and clear,

But there's no one to hold and no one to hear.
In the endless darkness of the night,
The lonely star basks in its own dim light.

It glimmers and twinkles in the sky above,
But it craves the warmth of companionship and love.
Through the ages, it wanders on its own,

Watching the universe unfold, the unknown.
It longs for a companion to share its glow,
To dance with, to laugh with, to grow.

But still it shines on, steadfast and strong,
A beacon of hope in the darkness so long.
Though lonely, it remains a symbol of grace,
A star whose beauty lights up space.
