Follow Me!

«“Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only
a few people be saved?” Jesus answered,
                “Make every effort to enter
                through the narrow door.
For many, I tell you, will try
to enter and will not be able.…»
                Luke 13:23

                "Then Jesus told his disciples,
“If anyone would come after me,
let him deny himself and take up his cross
                and follow me."
                Matthew 16:24

“Make every effort to find the narrow gate,”
Jesus has given to us this important instruction.
“Broad is the road that leads to the soul destruction,
though it might appear too easy and straight,
but it is fraught with deception, falsehood, and seduction.”

“Make every effort to find the narrow way,
though it can so hard and unsafe appear,
difficult, lonely, dangerous, often austere,
but if you trust Me and pray, don’t go astray,
I will remove from your heart any doubt and fear.”

“Take up your cross, and deny your desires of flesh,
seeking the will of the Lord, to God’s causes committing,
with all your mind and heart to His wishes submitting.
I can console your soul, uplift and refresh.
Follow me, persevering and never quitting.”

“Don’t give in to the pressure of others or fright,
Don’t give in to distraction or any confusion!
Follow Me with fidelity and resolution,
Follow Me! To your steps I’ll be guide and light,
I am alone to all of your problems solution.”

"Follow Me! Leave anxiety, and don’t fret!
Follow Me in the dark, as a beam of sunray.
I am the One, who alone would never betray,
Follow Me, and I promise: you’ll never regret.
I’m your Door to the Heaven, and I’m your Way."

"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24

"As they were going along the road, someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” And Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” ...
