Naila Garifzyanovna Akhunova is a poet, essayist, screenwriter, playwright, translator, public figure. Laureate of the M.Gorky Literary Awards (2008) and S.Suleymanova (2014). She was born in Almetyevsk on June 12, 1959 in a writer's family. She studied at school No. 5, after moving to Kazan in 1968, she continued her studies at school No. 126 and art School No. 4, from which she graduated with honors. I also visited lit.the association at the Gorky Museum in the late 70s and graduated from the School of a young journalist at KSU and the newspaper Komsomolets Tatarstan (1979), where the first lit. publications of N.Akhunova appeared. She worked as a graphic designer at a compressor plant, where her notes were published in the local newspaper "Workers' Tribune".
In 1985, she passed the state exams at the KGIK with honors - in the specialty "librarian-bibliographer of fiction and art literature". After graduating from Kazan State University . The Institute of Culture worked in various library systems in Kazan, including as a librarian of non-stationary service and head of the library of the House of Culture of Medical Workers (1983-1992), and then, after its closure, as a leading librarian of the library of the school No. 42 (until 1994). Naila Akhunova has been a member of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan since April 27, 1997.
Together with Boris Weiner, she published for about 15 years the only republican magazine in Russian for schoolchildren "Umbrella", and then - an almanac for children "Alarm Clock". Edited and wrote forewords to books by O.Ovchinnikova, E.Anichkina, Y.Sandler, M.Moreva, D.Matveev, L.Zagretdinova, E.Chernyaeva, F.Minhairov, N.Letaeva, M.Grafova. And lit. collections of disabled authors: collection of TRO VOI "The heart is glad to the heart" (Kazan, 2013), collection "In the name of life" of different years (Alatyr), etc.

The author of the idea and curator of the Open Festival of poetry and author's song named after V.Tushnova "Galaxy of Love" - since 1998; Literary and Local History Festival named afterGarifa Akhunova (since 2017), member of the Organizing Committee of the Regional Contest of Creativity of disabled people (together with A.Korotin) "In the name of Life" (Alatyr, Chuvashia) since 2010, the International Competition of translations of Tatar poetry (since 2020), as well as the Interregional Haiku Poetry Festival "Haikumen-on-Volga-2012" in Kazan, "Haikumen-on-Kama-2013" in Yelabuga, "Haikumen-on-Sur-2014" in Alatyr, etc. He writes poems, fairy tales, essays, scripts, plays. Translates short prose and plays from Tatar into Russian. Among them are translations of dramatizations and plays for children by Garai Rahim, Gulshat Zainasheva and Renata Harisa (together with Boris Weiner). Recently, he prefers genres in the Japanese style: haiku, haibun and zuihitsu. Haiku has been writing since the mid-90s of the last century. Diploma winner of the International Haiku Competition in Moscow (MKH-4,2011) and the nominal winner of the MKH-6 for 2014, as well as the MKH-8 for 2016, MKH-10 for 2018. She was among the winners of the First Haiku Competition in Akita (Japan, 2017). Organizer of the "Poetic Platform" of the International Festival of Contemporary Culture in the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve of different years. He takes an active part in the events of the International Association "Masters of Poetic Miniature" in Moscow and Kazan. Finalist of the Republican contest "Woman of the Year-2015" in the nomination "Culture and spirituality". The host of the "Lit. site" and a member of the Organizing Committee of the Interregional Environmental Youth Forum in Penza (2018), where she conducted haiku master classes "In three lines" for students of the Agrarian University. She also conducted master classes for the Open Youth Festival "Phoenix" and the Haiku Festival "HaikInno" and the "Festival of Oriental Cultures" in Kazan, in Samara - in the Regional Scientific Library at the International Festival "Winter Meetings" of different years.
Entered the shortlist of the International Haiku Contest "Diamond Key" (2017).

On the initiative of Naili Akhunova and LITO im.Garif Akhunov in the Year of Literature-2015, streets named after famous poets-countrymen appeared on the map of Kazan: V.Tushnova, N.Zabolotsky, E.Boratynsky and G.Derzhavin. And in the Year of Ecology-2017 in the Arsky district, in the homeland of the People's writer of the Republic of Tatarstan Garif Akhunov (1925-2000), the Akhun Chishmese spring was landscaped ("Ahun's Spring"). Naila Akhunova is the author of 18 books. Her works have been published in many republican and Moscow, online, regional and international publications, translated into Tatar, English, Spanish, Turkish, Hebrew and Japanese. Participant of the Third International Film Festival "Golden Minbar" (2007) in Kazan with the documentary "Swallow of the Color of Life" (screenplay by N.Akhunova, directed by B.Maksimov), who then became a laureate of the Second Republican Festival "Cinema without Barriers" (2008).

A collection of lyrics from different years by N.Akhunova "The Wind from Kazanka" was published in 2011 in the Tatar Book Publishing House. It also includes sections of haiku and interviews. The collection became the winner of the Republican contest "Book of the Year-2011", held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Library of Tatarstan and JSC TATMEDIA.

A performance based on a fairy tale play for children "Hello, Hedgehog! or Yourself with a mustache" by Naili Akhunova for a long time went to the State Puppet Theater "Ekiyat" in Kazan, and later - in Norway, Moscow, Moscow region, Saransk (Mordovia), Smolensk, Orenburg, Samara, Novopolotsk (Belarus), Minsk, Zelenodolsk and other cities - in professional and amateur theaters and studios.

One of the most popular readers is the book by N.Akhunova "Black Butterfly: Essays and miniatures" (Kazan, Tatar Book Publishing House, 2018), which included about 50 essays about famous Russian and Tatarstan writers and artists, as well as more than 100 miniatures in prose - khaibunov. Naila Akhunova is a participant of the International Pushkin Poetry Festival (2000), the Forum of Young Writers of Russia (2003), winner of the International Photo Contest "We live on the same Planet" (2019). Participant and member of the organizing committee of the R.Kutui International Literary Festival (KFU, 2020-2022), member of the organizing committee and jury of the Republican Festival "Crystal Lake" in Rybno-Slobodsky district (2021).
 
Naila Akhunova (together with Shaida Maksudova) is the compiler of the collection of memoirs "Garif Akhunov: Istelekler" (Tatar Book Publishing House, 2005), as well as the books "Khazinele Homer. Garif Akhunov" ("Ruhiyat", 2015).
