I am slightly afraid of poets -
With honey on their tongues,
They promise so much and do so little,
All they want is to seduce you
And then flee,
But the nature of human simplicity
Without the gloss of poetry
Is also disgusting.
Wish people knew more methods
Of loving each other
Without crossing the red lines,
Simply staying on a platonic level
And being a good, reliable friend
Forever.
