Don't put your trust in human leaders,-
they will return one day to dust.
Only the Lord, who daily feeds us,
only in Him put all your trust.
People could mislead, betray, and plunder,
and with words or weapons they kill,
but when you at God's creation wonder
He can peace within your heart instill.
Human minds are, alas, deceptive,
human flesh is prone to a sin.
To the call of God to be receptive
is to find happiness within.
Governments are trying to enslave us.
Jesus is the One, who sets us free,
and His love is making us courageous,
holding for Life Eternal key.
Praise God with all your heart and soul,
even in the times of distress.
Give to Him yourself, your life whole.
He'll transform it, surely, and bless.
