It knew very soon I would meet such a jewel!
The ocean was wise when I thought it was cruel.
And for the same reasons we hate spoilers so much,
It hid you from me, deprived me of your touch.
You were in the waves, very far but so near.
Time kept you away, and then it brought you here.
That night, looking down, I was walking away.
The sand was still warm, and I heard someone say,
“Stop looking for treasures, and you will find them."
