п. задания:

OWNER'S REPORT. The day before yesterday I was employed on the English ship "Lyudovik the 19th" as a surgeon for the time of crossing Strait-of-Dover Half-way from France the skipper asked me for a pencil to put some observations down to the ship's register. I had the only pencil and kept it always in the trunk as the only rememberance of my native land. For this reason I gave the above-mentioned trunk to the skipper who fell with it (all the three) into the sea while observing. And the pencil sank with the trunk in sea. Note that inside the trunk was also a handkerchief that was not insured. (The End.)

Dear Madam,
Just putting in order my papers I have accidentally found "Les Dialogues" by the very author whom You were especially interested in (last day before last day before yesterday). Here they are:

   "Dialogue 1.
    A. What are you doing?
    B. I'm speaking English.
    A. That's strange! Do you usually speak English?
    B. I never speak but I'm speaking now.
    A. Why are you speaking now?
    B. Because I'm having my English classes.
    A. I'm surprised to hear it.

    Dialogue 2.
    A. What were you doing last Monday?
    B. I was feeling happy.
    A. That's strange! Did you usually feel happy?
    B. I never felt but I was feeling last Monday.
    A. Why were you feeling happy last Monday?
    B. Because I was having my English classes.
    A. I'm amazed to hear it.

    Dialogue 3.
    A. What will you be doing next Friday?
    B. I'll be sad.
    A. That's strange! Will you usually be sad?
    B. Not usually except next Friday.
    A. Why will you be sad next Friday?
    B. Because I won't be having my English classes.
    A. I'm astonished to hear it."

That's all. I would be happy if these monotonous Dialogues were useful for at least one of us.
      Respect, truly yours

<G.B.: They certainly were!>

        Room Story

My room's area is about 100 square foots. There is a floor and a ceiling in the room. The floor is opposite the ceiling. There is a light on the ceiling. There is a door and a window in the room. The door is opposite the window. There is a radiator below the window. There are four walls in the room. There are five book-shelves on the opposite walls: two on the one and three on the other. There is a disorder on the shelves. There is furniture along the same walls. There are two desks and a piano along the wall with two book-shelves on it. The first desk is near the door. There is a disorder on the desk. The second desk is near the window. There is an iron-board with an iron on the desk. There are two stairs in front of the desks. The piano is between the desks. There is a disorder on the piano. There is a linen-box in front of the piano with no linen inside it. There is a disorder inside it. There is a sofa and a wardrobe along the wall with three book-shelves on it. The sofa is near the window. The wardrobe is near the door. There is a disorder on the wardrobe. There is a bicycle above the wardrobe. For more information on many interesting things one need order all of those disorders. (The End.)

<G.B.: I'd like to have it for my collection too.>
