Black raven

Виталий Стадников
Black raven, cease your circling flight,
Above my head, in broad daylight.
I'm still alive, with strength to spare,
So wait a while, and perch right there.

Upon a branch, come rest your wings,
And tell me of your wanderings.
What sights have you beheld today,
In lands both near and far away?

Perhaps you've seen, with keen eye,
The thing I've sought, as years passed by.
A quest that's driven me so long,
Through trials and hardships, right or wrong.

So speak, dear raven, and share your tale,
Of what you've witnessed, without fail.
Your words may hold the missing key,
To end my search, and set me free.
