You wanted myself

Стас Павлюк
I know the poems are not quite your style,
I have read them and heard them
I even know how to work tricky dial
That can turn down the volume

But that forgotten affection is here
And it tickles like feather
I'm barely moving to stay on my feet
Barely holding together

You wanted myself from myself
but I slipped thru your fingers
And even if I ask for help
I know we are going to hell
But our voices will linger

They recognize me they smile from above
But they'll never embrace it
I feel so small and not worthy of love
So I hide in the basement

These constellations of people in grey
They are trying to save me
Closer and closer - I'm running away
There's no way to repair me.
