A pre-dawn
twilight of fall
phantasm of the garden
a glide in the alleys
of soundless shadows
Chaos of motion
encircling the grating!
the rustle of foliage,
light patches’ commotion
in vanishing heaven
a tight interlacing
of branches and mist
and the evaporations
of earth. It’s a surfeit
at threshold of Hell!
The loss of a flight
in a treacherous fall
And raven’s wings hissing,
and touching and kissing.
The blessing.
