THE HOUSE DIED
The spiral corridors short-circuited,
like circulation systems of the blood,
Old balconies with crooked fingers
desperately clung to canvas of the street
and glass of windows’ eyes blacked out,
when in the clouds of red brick dust
an iron fist of demolition
has raised to crush the pitiful patched roof
drenched in the cosmic radiance. A moan
was born and grew in depths of cellars,
and echoed with the hastened pulse
of trembling beams.
The house died
from stroke,
like a human being
