And yet it was funny iw me and my mate were trying to invent the new title for a new metal band I was establishing... That was all him to give up Therralion at first (hinting my astrological sign was Virgo - the sign of earth - terra) and then was Ardallion that sounded bit more pleasant to my ear. I do still have no idea if he meant something or someone from Tolkien's world (though once he said something "elvish"))) - I imagined "arda" as the red burning fire ("ardent") which was more fit to dark metal band imagery ))
But the bigger fun I had when smb. linked me to an article about the Roman time Orthodox named exactly Ardallion (tht meant "creating from the impure"). He lived in times of persecution and was an actor at the emperor's theatre. According to scenario he must have denied Lord for sake of Roman Empire but he changed his role's climax to the opposite. Therefore he ended up in "arda", was burnt alive in fire...
Well, the band I was establishing screwed up but the nick remained - and I like it though my "personal scenario" lies far beyond any faith and torture I hope) as I am an atheistic guy who just adores the art - the biggest lie in the world that shows up its best meanings ))

That was in 2008... as a proverb says one should wait 3 years to receive the promised - in 2011-2012 I became so called "collaboration musician" (lyricist an vocalist) in death-metal band Spidehunt. In 2012, 2013 we released first two albums and then EP in 2018. Just now we're working on a CDS. :)

Well, faith is even more complex and ambivalent thing to me than religion (which I've given up to absolute disappointment). Faith may heal and give power but at the same time it can retain one's mind in harmful illusion and destroy the personality. It can motivate one to change for better or sustain in procrastination. It is obvious that "men of faith" and the skeptical people see the world differently. It must concern the psychological aspects of base trust-or-fear attitude, something in personal paradigm of worldview - as for me I was always unaware how one can be sure if he hasn't got the proof. As even or eyes and our brain can cheat...
I guess the ethical principles and values of a human is the most important thing. They may not include faith but pursue the same values. If faith may crash, the values existing independently would not...
I think once the humanity will reveal that there's no place for peace and justice and any goodness in heaven - those are the inventions of mind appeared to help the humanity survive. They are not universal (hungry wolf would probably sincerely believe that justice is a good fat lamb for breakfast)) they live inside our minds and neither sun nor moon would ever care to accomplish our values - but we can. Just for us, regardless of God's will or His non-existence...
Well, all I said is just a skinny sketch of the problem - that is, of course,much more ""nuanced" and complex...

Thank you for the info, will keep in mind! Shure was my first condenser mic - pretty good one, stable brand - their dynamic SM57-58 were the legendary models designed especially for rock and metal vocalists for on stage and in studio use. There's s history behind it. Shure is for sure! )

Oh, it's pretty hard times for me now, frankly speaking, me and my kins, you know, financial and health issues... - I don't even know if my minimally equipped home studio would survive - thuswise for some period of time I'll stay with my "lunchbox" of gear.
But once upon a money I will surely try Shure Se846!
